Bio

 Genie is a fine artist and expatriate from Washington, D.C., born in Seoul, Korea. With the transnational experiences of residing in Asia, Europe and the Middle East, the collective of foregrounding impressions continue to inform her work, enrich her practice of visual art forms and research of regional art history. Her studio art practice involves various mediums, most recently contemporary screen prints, paintings, sculptures and laser-cut plexiglass. Genie currently lives and works in the United States. She holds a Master of Fine Arts; MFA in Studio Art from American University in Washington, D.C.
